Louise Redknapp Stars In Mecca Bingo Advert
Over the years we have seen a number of different celebrities become the face of many online bingo sites. Katie Price has fronted the Foxy campaign, Vic Reeves donned a dress for the 888 Ladies ad and Peter Andre has been involved with Wink Bingo, and these are just a few of the examples we could have rolled out. Today we can tell you that the latest to front a marketing campaign for an online bingo brand is Louise Redknapp.
For those of you who may be a little young to know who Louise Redknapp is, and don’t recognise her face in the Mecca Bingo commercial, she used to be in a band called Eternal in the 90’s. She’s also married to a former England, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspurs footballer called Jamie Redknapp.

A combination of the girl next door look that Louise has and the wording of the commercial means that the new Mecca Bingo advert has great player connection. At least in our opinion. It may not be a head turner like some adverts currently showing on television, but your average bingo player will certainly know the feelings that Louise describes in the 30 second commercial.
She talks about the edge of your seat feeling and the feeling that makes you tap your feet, and as bingo players, we have certainly felt that way – both online and at our local bingo club.
That’s another aspect that we like about the Mecca advert, the fact that they aren’t focusing predominately on the online arm of their business. Although that said, when discussing joining Mecca Bingo, the welcome offer promoted is for the online site.
