Live Bingo is obviously trying to appeal to the ordinary people because when you land on the homepage of this bingo brand there are just that waiting to greet you! There aren’t the usual "model" types or cartoony characters adorning the landing page of this site, it’s all about real people it would seem although the 70′s porn star look alike is a little off putting – they might want to change his image for something a little more attractive. It’s obvious from the moment you land at Live Bingo that this site is powered by the Virtue Fusion bingo software, the site has a not too dissimilar feel to others using the same software.
Of the three scrolling welcome images featuring the "ordinary" people of Live Bingo you’ll see the no deposit required welcome bonus offer (although we didn’t receive this!) and the cash match offer they have for players making the first deposit alongside details of the big game or event that is happening at the site on the day of your arrival.
The registration form at Live Bingo is pretty standard for the sites powered by this software but it does boast a little address look up function which saves you having to enter your full address; simply enter your postcode and house number then click the "Find Address" button and this section is completed for you. Once you have completed all the required information you are taken straight to the depositing screen. You do not have to make a deposit to take a look around the site but it isn’t exactly clear how to access the rooms, there is a very small link at the bottom of this screen that says "Click here to go straight to Bingo" – do this and you can take a look around before you decide whether or not to make a deposit.
Before entering the lobby you do have to choose a username for use at the site, one that players will know you by. From the lobby of Live Bingo you can see all the rooms available with details of the time until next game, prize, price per ticket, number of players and the maximum number of tickets available in the room. You can also see what games are available and these include a number of varieties of the online bingo game; 75 ball, 80 ball and 90 ball bingo.
Once in a bingo room, if you have played at a Virtue Fusion powered bingo brand before, the layout is as you would expect. The bingo cards are to the right of your screen with the game prizes and progressive jackpot values (if offered) showing above your game cards. To the right is the bingo chat room with a selection of instant win games above chat.
Overall we quite liked Live Bingo but were disappointed that the home page advertised £1 free only to find that it was not added to our account. This could be for a number of reasons (accounts at other brands on the network, not having made a deposit etc) but with no information about the bonus in the Terms and Conditions and Live Help not available we were unable to find answers.
