Jackpot Joy Bingo has been around since 2001 but to be honest is not one of the first names that would spring to my mind if I was asked to name 5 online bingo sites. Despite this it has its own strong fan base and won the 2007 E-gaming best bingo operator of the year award so they must be doing something right.
The sign-up process is fairly straightforward and within a couple of minutes you are a registered member. An added bonus for me is that there is no download of software needed, simply log in once registration has been completed and play.
As well as the 75 ball, 80 ball and 90 ball bingo rooms there is an impressive selection of slots, instants and casino games to be played as well.
There is not as much customisation available on the Gamesys software as you might find on other software platforms. The only options appear to be that you can choose to switch on or off the auto daub and auto sort facilities as well as music which also switches off the callers voice.
Each bingo room has its own progressive jackpots and some of these reach some life-changing amounts. In September 2009 Teresa S won a whopping £131,277 with the Full House Bingo jackpot.
Every time that you play you earn yourself points which you can then use to purchase tickets in the monthly prize draws where you could win yourself anything from £500 cash to luxury prizes such as an Aston Martin drive experience, spa days and plasma TV.
Join in the chat room games for a chance to win some extra bingo tickets or loyalty bonus such as Weekend Quiz and Miss Moneybags Karaoke.
Pros
Long running bingo provider, sign-up bonus, great range of exclusive side games, low minimal deposit and withdrawal limits, special bingo games with extra features.
Cons
Some bugs when buying special offer tickets (duplicate numbers in strips of 6 rather than a full strip), focused more on side games than bingo, few extra deposit bonus opportunities, lack of chat games.

I play at JPJ and I also play at many, many other sites too,JPJ has always stood out as superior to all other sites for me and if I was writing this review it would not say that JPJ doesnt come in amongst other top sites….It was my number one site for years.fast payouts, user friendly, the best community on chat, fab choices for depositing,,the hosts that JPJ used to have, made the site what it is today, sadly JPJ made improvements….except I would’ve prefered the home working hosts to have not lost thier jobs.
Hi Jenny
Thanks for your comments. Unfortunately, the loss of employment for chat hosts is being seen industry wide. The reason is simply, operators believe that mobile bingo is the way forward and with mobile, the social side of the game is lost (in my opinion). As such, the chat hosts are a cost that operators no longer believe they need. The social side of bingo is being lost in the ether, something David and I have tried to ensure doesnt happen with our standalone bingo room at our site, http://www.tidybingo.com.
Thanks
