UNion Bingo was located in the premises of the original Union Cinema which opened in 1927. In 1937 the 1432 seater was taken over by ABC cinemas, which was subsequently taken over by Star cinemas, and to our knowledge this was the last change of ownership until it was taken over for bingo in 1973.
