Classical Jackpot Joy Advert

The new advert from Jackpot Joy has been showing on your television screens now since Friday 12th October and features a cellist and a rather odd instrument of squeaky toys. The commercial, created by the Isobel advertising agency, uses Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in D Minor for a battle between two musicians overseen by the Queen of Bingo herself, Barbara Windsor. The agency have quite a few big name brands under their belt and were responsible for the Bernard Matthews commercial that featured the well-known chef Marco Pierre White.

Adelphoi Music, who created the sound for the Jackpot Joy commercial, said that the notoriety of the piece by Bach gives viewers “a certain expectation” whilst the introduction of the squeaky toy instrumental contraption sideswipes them.

Jackpot Joy, The Queen Of Bingo And A Pooch

You can’t sit in front of the television these days without seeing an advert for at least one online bingo brand and there is another airing now that features the Queen of Bingo, Barbara Windsor. Although I don’t think Babs is worthy of the title, Jackpot Joy have crowned her as such and she is the star of all their bingo commercials. The latest focuses on bingo bonus games at Jackpot Joy, of which avid players at the site will know, there are many.

The new commercial for Jackpot Joy has the Queen of Bingo upon her throne with her bingo ball festooned dress with a pooch sitting on a red cushion beside her sporting a tiara and a bingo ball collar.

Jackpot Joy Spoof Commercial

As a bingo player it is very likely that you will have noticed the Jackpot Joy commercial on your television. Some love it, others hate it but you have to admit that the new campaign featuring Barbara Windsor has definitely made this brand a name that everyone now knows. Something that all marketing, for whichever brand, aims to achieve be it an offline or online campaign.

A recent EGR Gaming Awards event saw Jackpot Joy scoop the 2010 Best Marketing Campaign award but a recent scout around You Tube turned up a Jackpot Joy spoof commercial that had us chuckling away to ourselves.
