Bingo VG - Very Good!

Wow Bingo Review

Wow Bingo, the name incites excitement but does the brand actually deliver the Wow factor? This is what we look at in the following review but from the outset it is not looking good because this is yet another Cozy Games site and for those in the known this means high wagering requirements, high minimum withdrawal and low pot prizes.

The home page of Wow Bingo looks quite snazzy with a cartoon character sporting sunglasses looking quite pleased with herself. Also the welcome bonuses flash between the no deposit required bonus of £10 free and the deposit bonuses are quite interesting too – that is until you get into the nitty gritty of things and realise how much you need to wager before being able to withdraw from Wow Bingo.

Wow Bingo offers a one click registration system but it is pretty useless when you consider that in order to even view the games you have to validate your account – this works out to be several more than one click to get in on the bingo action at Wow Bingo. If you do not validate your account you won’t be awarded your bonus nor be able to access the games at all.

When you have finally done all of the above you are able to access the lobby where the rooms available are shown. At the time of the review there were only 75 and 90 ball rooms open but we are sure that Wow Bingo also offers 80 ball bingo at certain times of the day. From the lobby you can also see a selection of information about what each room has to offer including the time until next game, number of players in each room, price per ticket, game jackpot and progressive jackpot. Unless you have made a deposit then you are unable to access the networked rooms and can only buy a maximum of 15 tickets in each of the rooms you can access.

The Wow Bingo rooms can take a while to load, longer than most online bingo sites, but when you are in a room it’s all pretty much laid out as many other brands online. The bingo chat is to the right of your screen (the constant use of the smilies can become a little irritating and make it hard to read chat) with instant win games above the chat room (bonus funds can be used on these). To the centre of your screen are the bingo tickets and the call board is over to the left. Pot prizes are shown above your bingo tickets and to be honest, they aren’t that impressive. We were reviewing Wow Bingo at 6.15pm on a Sunday night, there were 32 players online (although not all may have purchased tickets) and the ticket price was 10p a ticket. We had 15 cards in play and the prizes were 91p for a line, £1.40 for two lines and a whopping £2.17 for the full house (yes, that was sarcasm).

Like many Cozy Games sites Wow Bingo has limited promotional offers and all the details are more than a little sketchy for the ones they do have. It’s not a site we would choose to play at and certainly one we wouldn’t deposit at but that is just our opinion.

Pros

No deposit required welcome bonus offered although claiming it can be a pain!

Cons

High wagering requirement, high minimum withdrawal, low pot prizes.
