Bingo VG - Very Good!

Virgin Bingo Review

Virgin Bingo has been around on the online bingo circuit for a while, and it’s been through several transformations. The most recent of these came in January 2013 when the Gamesys group bought out the entire brand. This meant brand new software and a new look Virgin Bingo.

The Virgin Bingo brand is a stylish red and black, with a simplistic yet stylish feel. The homepage is full of information about upcoming games, specials and the brand features a rather futurist croupier on the front page, a nod maybe to the fact that this brand is big on casino games.

The brand concentrates so heavily on the casino branding that you could be forgiven for thinking you have landed in the wrong place, but this is indeed bingo, just not how you know it.

Signing up for a new account with Virgin Bingo is a really simple process and takes just a couple of minutes. Sign up, enter your details and payment details, make a deposit and you’ll be credited with a generous welcome bonus. From there, simply launch the games lobby and you’re ready to play.

From the bingo lobby you will see all the information on the exciting games and promotions on offer: Use the tabs to navigate the screen and switch between games, slots and of course bingo. We put the bingo last, despite the fact that this is a bingo site simply because Virgin appear to put the bingo last in their list of priorities.

By that we mean that Virgin Bingo offer a raft of casino games, slots and instant wins, but just three bingo rooms, offering just two different variants of bingo. It’s quite disappointing, especially when compared with the selection of casino games on offer and gives the entire site the feel of a casino offering bingo rather than the other way around.

The bingo itself is sleek, the interface is gorgeous and the entire thing is incredibly easy to use. If only there were a bit more choice we would be happy as the proverbial pig at Virgin Bingo, instead we end up feeling really let down by the bingo offering.

In summary, we expected big things from the Gamesys/Virgin collaboration and they don’t quite deliver. In short, Virgin need to up their game if they want to keep hold of their bingo clientele!

Absolutely awful! I can’t comment on bingo as I play slots but my advice to anyone who does the same is….don’t play them on this site! Crap payouts compared to when I’ve played same slot game on other sites. Also the bonus features on the slots eg: Rainbow Riches where when 3 leprechauns come out on a spin you’d go to bonus feature that allows you to win more cash. Well on virgin I swear it came up three times in total after me wagering £56! At a stake of 40p a spin and going down to 20p now and again. This gave me precisely 40 minutes playing time for the entire deposit of £56 which I personally think is terrible!! On other game sites I’ve had the feature come up loads while playing only £10-20 and you get much more play value for your money. I’d never go near it again.
