In June 2014 the 15 Network family grew one more with the launch of Rocket Bingo, an intergalactic themed bingo site using software from Jumpman Gaming. Spaceships and rockets adorn the homepage, or at least cartoon representations, carrying the ‘rocket’ theme through the site. The homepage is well laid out and there’s plenty of information about the site, including welcome bonuses and current offers.

If you’re familiar with the 15 Network then it’s likely that the homepage at Rocket Bingo won’t be too much of a surprise to you, the brand seems to use a fairly standard layout, only changing the graphics and images and this continues at this site. To get started you’ll need to create an account and this is so simple it doesn’t really warrant a step-by-step guide. Just enter a few personal details, register a Debit Card, make a deposit and you’ll be ready to hit the bingo rooms in no time at all.

Once you are ready to play and you’ve taken advantage of the ‘out of this world’ welcome bonuses just hit the play button and you’ll be taken to the bingo lobby. Here you’ll see all the games and rooms in tab format with lots available for players. The bingo comes in two main variants, traditional UK 90-ball and US 75-ball bingo, across a selection of rooms offering multi-price games. If you’re looking for dedicated free bingo you may be disappointed, although there is a free bingo promotion on offer you must be a depositing player and the room is only open at certain times. That said, the bingo isn’t breaking the bank and we do find plenty of budget games during our visit. Also on the lobby tab are pre-buy jackpots and you’ll also find full details of these on the promotions page at Rocket Bingo too so it’s easy to keep track of what’s happening around site.

Overall the lobby is easy to navigate, bright and cheerful and once you enter the bingo room of your choice you’ll see the user-friendly outlook continues. Ticket purchasing is to the left of the screen and buying tickets is really easy. Those tickets then play in full centre screen, allowing you to watch the game easily. If you love the community aspect of online bingo you’ll want to chat, and you’ll find the chat box on the right hand side of the screen, hosted by experienced chat hosts and offering plenty of chat games too!

In addition to the bingo there’s a selection of slots, instant wins and mini games, many from the IGT camp and many familiar games you may have come across elsewhere in the online bingo world. Spin the reels on slots such as Fluffy Favourites and many more, or check out the table games and instant wins. Like the bingo, the graphics here do not disappoint and the gameplay is excellent!

The promotional schedule at Rocket Bingo is pretty good actually, but many of the promotions are networked so if you’re already signed up at another site on the network, you may not find much new, although the brand has launched with a couple of standalone Facebook promotions so it’s certainly a step in the right direction. Let’s hope there’s much more to follow as brands really do need to stand apart from the competition to survive.

We’re not sure that Rocket Bingo is quite space-age, but what they have is perfectly playable and acceptable. We hope to see more standalone promotions as the brand grows but reviewing on launch day, we’re fairly impressed and can only hope what follows will be truly ‘out of this world’.
