Pink Ribbon Bingo Review
Pink Ribbon Bingo was originally powered by the popular Virtue Fusion bingo software on the Better Bingo Network but in July 2011 the site made a move to the Dragonfish network using the 888/Globalcom/Cassava software. The home page is coloured brightly, and is unlikely to appeal to the gents as it’s very “girlie” in appearance. The first thing we noticed when landing on the homepage is the two celeb faces grinning out at us. Tamzin Outhwaite and Kate Thornton are smiling at you as they welcome you to this charity bingo brand. They feature on the homepage advertising the welcome bonus for the brand.
What makes Pink Ribbon Bingo from many other brands available online is their association with the charity “Breakthrough Breast Cancer”; 15p in every £1 you spend at this site goes to the charity. That’s 15% of the gross revenue from the site and players also have the opportunity to donate a percentage of their winnings to the chairty.
However when it comes to the actual site, the games they offer, the layout of the lobby and the registration process – it’s all been seen before at brands like Bingo Cove and Bingo Lottery. The move from Virtue Fusion to Dragonfish was not a wise one in our opinion.
The registration process is standard and you can access one of the free bingo rooms immediately and for 72 hours after account creation, the other rooms that offer free games is open to funded players only. Once registration is complete you are then instantly offered the option to “Play Now” or “Deposit Now” – standard to the Dragonfish networked brands. The brand offers three versions of the online bingo game, 75 and 90 ball as well as multi-line 75 ball games.
The bingo lobby at Pink Ribbon Bingo looks the same as with any other Dragonfish networked brand with your room choices to the left of the lobby, rooms listed in the centre of your screen and instant win games shown to the right of the screen along with the current promotional offers. Once inside a bingo room the layout is standard to the Dragonfish network. The purchase of tickets is easy with a number of options; use the “Quick Buy” option or simply click the tickets you wish to purchase.
Pink Ribbon Bingo is a great site in so far as it aims to raise money for a worthy cause but we’ve seen it all before on numerous other brands. The site should have stuck with their first choice of software provider!
Donations to a worthy cause, trusted software and increased first deposit bonus for new players.
Looks the same internally as many other brands on the same network, no individuality.
