Bingo VG - Very Good!

Jackpot City Bingo Review

In September 2014 Jackpot City Bingo made the decision to stop advertising their brand to UK players following the licensing reforms put into place in November 2014. For this reason we have opted to offer our reader an alternative brand on the same software, offering the same gaming experience. Please note that the following details are for information purposes only and may not be updated.

Jackpot City Bingo started life in the world of bingo online using the popular Virtue Fusion software but for some reason the powers that be at this brand made the decision, albeit the wrong one in our opinion, to move to the Microgaming software in November 2009. Virtual suicide some might suggest considering that the move took the brand from the best available software to what can only be described as the "poor relation" in comparison. However this is just our opinion and it really is best to make your own mind up by trying the site out for yourself.

The home page of Jackpot City Bingo is colourful and has the obligatory "girlie" feel about it with pink being the most prominent colour used. Bella used to be the mascot for the brand but she seems to have disappeared!

The main marketing focus on the home page seems to be given to the welcome bonus – 100% bonus on your first three deposits – but is this enough to attract players through the virtual doors of the site?

Jackpots are available in all rooms at Jackpot City Bingo and finding out how to win them is done by hovering your mouse over the jackpot. For example in the Friendship room the progressive is called the PJP 38 and as the name would suggest, you win by calling a full house in 38 calls or less.

The audio presets on offer in the chat rooms at Jackpot City Bingo are like Marmite, you either love them or you hate them but we soon found ourselves muting the sounds however you might quite like this quirky little feature.

Overall Jackpot City Bingo is not our cup of tea – the site is too "laggy", the preset audio sounds annoying and the promotions are poor but that’s not to say you will feel the same!
