Dream Bingo is one of just a handful of online bingo brands powered by the Microgaming bingo software. Opinions of this software are divided; some players love the quirky little features that are found on sites like Dream Bingo but others, like me, find them quite infuriating. Dream Bingo is a brand that’s a little like marmite, you’ll either love it or you will hate it. Like many brands the welcome bonus varies often at Dream Bingo but at the time of the review there was a no deposit required bonus on offer to new players.

Once you enter a room at Dream Bingo you’ll not be surprised at the layout of the screen, it’s not too disimilar to other bingo brands with your chat to the left of your screen above a selection of mini games and the tickets to the right. Above the tickets are the game details – prizes, number of players, ticket price and how many tickets you have for the game. Chat is where the most unique features of the Microgaming bingo software comes in; the sites on this platform offer pre-set audio sounds. These are quite innovative and fun to play with when you first land at the site but they soon become slightly irritating (well they did for me anyway) and you may find yourself searching for the mute button pretty soon! This is under the room name using "options" turn off chat sounds by removing the tick.
Promotions are changing all the time at Dream Bingo and include a monthly £10,000 guaranteed jackpot game at the end of each month. However some of the promotions are still pretty poor, especially the ones that offer bingo bucks to the game winner and their neighbours in the chat room. Dream Bingo isn’t exactly a dream to play at but in comparison with some others it’s not a nightmare either.
