Bingo Mania has been around for quite some time now and the site is available both in $ and £ – for the UK brand the site address ends .co.uk but to play in dollars you need the .com. When you first land at Bingo Mania you may see a few similarities to other brands available online today; brands like Eyes Down Bingo, Astro Bingo and Bingonanza – this is because they are all part of the same network and all powered by the Parlay Entertainment bingo software.
Although not clearly shown on the home page of Bingo Mania the brand does welcome all new players to their site with a £10 free no deposit required welcome bonus (However when we registered on 2nd October 2011 our bonus account showed £10 but there was no information about this in the promotional material at Bingo Mania!).
This is followed by a 200% cash match bonus when you make your first deposit of at least £10 (max. bonus allowed is £250). Registration to the site is fairly straightforward with no requirement to complete your financial details in order to qualify for any no deposit required bonus being offered by Bingo Mania at the time of signing up. Once registration is complete you are taken straight to the bingo lobby and the choice of 75 ball and 90 ball rooms (there are some times during the day that have more rooms open than others).
When you have chosen the room you wish to play in at Bingo Mania and have entered the room you will find that the chat room does not automatically appear; to enter chat you have to click the little speech bubble above the blank space to the left of your screen. Your bingo tickets are shown to the right of your screen and above the cards is the bingo call board. Tickets are purchased by either clicking the tickets you wish to buy and then clicking buy or using the slider option. What’s a little disappointing is that the full prize breakdown is not shown when a game is in play in 90 ball bingo; you have to wait until the line has been won to see the two line prize and so on. However when ticket sales are happening the prizes do scroll through at the top of your screen.
There are a number of side games to play on the same screen as your bingo and what was quite impressive is that you can use any bonus money you have in your account to try these out as well but only a small selection give you this option. Of course if you win using your bonus money then any winnings are credited back to your bonus account rather than your cash balance.
Promotions at Bingo Mania offer a bit more than just the welcome offers for new players but in all honesty they don’t exactly inspire you to play at the site; rules are often too complicated and prizes not exactly worth breaking the bingo budget to try and win. Like many brands on the same network, Bingo Mania could be so much better but it would appear that the site is getting complacent when it comes to what it has to offer its players – yes, this is an established brand but with so many to choose from online today, being around for a while isn’t enough to attract the players.
