Astro Bingo Review
Due to multiple issues with the affiliate scheme used for Astro Bingo we have chosen to redirect our readers to another brand.
Landing on the home of Astro Bingo is a little disappointing; we expected an astrological theme yet the only marker that matches the name of this online bingo brand is the logo. The rest of the site simply looks exactly the same as other brands on the TGN network. To be honest, from the homepage of Astro Bingo you get more of a casino feel than bingo with the main stay of the landing page being focused on the slots that are available, something that should be addressed quite quickly if the brand wants to attract BINGO players.
The registration process at Astro Bingo is pretty standard with the usual details required
A plus point for this online bingo brand is that no financial details are required at the point of registration nor do you need to validate your account through your email address in order for the no deposit required welcome bonus of £10 to be added to your account, this was there the moment we logged into our account.
Once logged into Astro Bingo you are instantly taken to the bingo lobby at at the time of this review their were three rooms open, 75 ball Lucky Streak, 90 ball Money Tree and the 90 ball Freebie Room. Some of the sites on this network do have 80 ball bingo available at certain times of the day and we believe, although cannot confirm or deny, that Astro Bingo also has these games available as well.
Although the name "Freebie Room" would imply that all the games here at Astro Bingo are free, this is not the case. This room was our first port of call and we had to pay 1p per ticket for the game. There are no cost bingo games playing but in the time we were in the room it appeared to be only every other game. What was REALLY infurtiating in this Freebie Room was the fact that even with 7 players purchasing tickets at a penny a time (we bought the maximum of 24) the prize pot total was just 11p! Where did all the other pennies go? There was also no CM on duty in the Freebie Room as we played but there were 39 players.
At Astro Bingo you can enter as many of the rooms as you wish and play in them all if your budget allows.
To be honest, despite some plus points about Astro Bingo, the moment we saw how big a chunk of the ticket purchases were removed from the pot prizes, we lost all interest in the brand and found it really difficult to continue with the review or balance out the good with the bad. Astro Bingo isn’t a site that we could morally recommend.
Ability to play in more than one room at once, offer a free bingo room
Small number of rooms, pot prizes not reflective of ticket sales, free bingo room also pay to play, chat hosts not available in most popular room.
