Playtech Bingo Network

Note: What was originally called the Playtech Bingo Network closed down in November 2010, following their purchase of the Virtue Fusion network. A number of Playtech sites moved to that platform and are now part of that network, whilst others closed. This page will stay here for the record.

The Playtech Network has been running for a number of years, powered by Playtech’s own bingo platform. They’ve had a number of sites running on their network, a couple of whom have moved to other platforms in the meantime.

Playtech purchased Virtue Fusion in February 2010. This means that they have added a whole load of quality online bingo sites to their company. And it’s not just quantity, it’s quality as well, and most of the sites get ahead because they are instantly recognised brands – Sky Bingo for example would not have been able to generate success so quickly if people didn’t recognise the name ‘Sky’ from their other operations such as Satellite TV.

In essence Playtech are running a couple of networks now, as alongside their own they now also control the Virtue Fusion network. We’ll deal with that network on its own page rather than confuse the two here. At the moment they are both distinctly separate entities.

With some of the sites that were using the software moving elsewhere, the Playtech Network is now quite small, it will be interesting to see if they move the sites in it to the Virtue Fusion platform and amalgamate the 2 networks into one. As it stands, the Virtue Fusion platform is far superior in terms of both liquidity, software and variety, so the loss of the original Playtech Network will be no great loss.

Playtech Network Sites

When the network was live, popular sites included: Betfred Bingo, Bingo Day, Ruby Bingo, Titan Bingo and Totesport Bingo. Bingo Day and Titan Bingo are still online, whilst the others moved over to the Virtue Fusion network.
