Mecca Bingo Background And History
We don’t know why the building closed, all we know is that there have been applications to turn the building into flats. A ‘landmark’ building, it originally opened in 1936 as the Art Deco Savoy Cinema. It became a bingo club in 1961 after it was taken over from the Essoldo cinema chain.
If you have any more information and would like to share it with us,please contact us here.
Date Of Club Closure: October 2014
