Grand Bingo Background And History
Although we do have some details of the history of the venue, we don’t currently have any information on the closure of the bingo club, but if you do have any information and would like to share it with us, please contact us here.
We know that the club started life as a theatre in 1911. A small venue with seating for 950 patrons, it was showing films by the late twenties, and was completely refurbished in the thirties.
Currently a ‘Hard Rock Cafe’, the interior Egyptian Design is apparently still in a good state of repair.
Date Of Club Closure: 2006
