I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here is one of the biggest shows on television and will soon be returning to our screens for a seventeenth season. Ant and Dec will be returning to the host the show and no doubt the Bushtucker Trials will be as gut-wrenching as ever. One thing that has changed though it that the show has an exciting new sponsor – Tombola!

Sunderland based Tombola Arcade (Tombola Bingo‘s sister site) will be sponsoring the show when it returns to out screens later this year. No figures have been mentioned yet, but the deal is said to be worth around £2 million a year which is what previous sponsor Aunt Bessie paid as part of a similar deal back in 2015.

Big Viewing Figures For Tombola

I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here is a long-time ratings winner for ITV and the previous season set the biggest audience figures of the year, with an average 10.5 million viewers tuning in for each episode and a massive 11.4 million viewers for the final.

Tombola have contracted the Über Agency to produce and manage the campaign for them, which continues the relationship they have built up with previous successful campaigns in previous years. The deal will include sponsorship of the I’m A Celebrity…Extra Camp on ITV2, content on the ITV Hub and the shows companion app where viewers get to vote for their king or queen of the jungle.

Tombola Says

Tombola are currently building a new £6 million HQ in Sunderland and Phil Cronin their founder says “We’re delighted to be partnering with ITV by sponsoring I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! This deal is such a great fit for tombola as community, fun and entertainment are at the heart of both brands”.

Greg Clark Über’s Managing Director added “tombola arcade and I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! both share a very loyal fan base. Our creative needed to do justice to both and bring them together. I’m A Celeb is one of the most watched programmes of the year for a reason. It’s great entertainment and I believe our campaign holds up against it and will firmly become part of the whole IAC experience”.
