More Changes Imminent At Cozy Games

It wasn’t that long ago that we saw the Cozy Games sites make some quite significant changes at their sites. We saw them reduce the minimum deposit amount, and the minimum withdrawal amount [read more here]. News today is that on 15th October, just a week away now, there are to be even more amendments across all the sites powered by this software, but are they going to be for the better?

The first change is going to be the removal of all the free play bonuses, something we have been expecting since the introduction of the tax on this type of bonus in August 2017. This is not going to be received favourably and we predict even more closures for sites powered by Cozy Games.

Cozy Games To Introduce Newbie Room

Like many sites who do not offer a no deposit required bonus, the Cozy Games brands are set to offer access to a Newbie Room. Seven days access will be given and players will get 10 free tickets to all games in the room.

There will be first, second and third deposit bonuses offered and this looks to be a universal bonus across the board:

  • First bonus – 300% up to £120
  • Second bonus – 150% up to £60
  • Third bonus – 100% up to £50

The bonuses that will be given can be used on bingo and slots with the exception of titles from third parties – i.e. the new suite of NetEnt games that have been added to all the sites.

Our Opinion

It looks as though the positive changes around withdrawals was a massive sweetener to make the latest changes a less bitter pill to swallow for those that operate brands on the Cozy Games software.

For us, the loss of the £15 free play bonus for new players will mean a drop in player numbers in the room but the upside of that, less players means fewer chat hosts required and we might see the back of some of the sleaze balls that man the Cozy Games chat rooms.

Joking aside, to sum it up, it’s the beginning of the end in our opinion.
