Changes At Sun Bingo Hardly Noticeable
When the news that Sun Bingo and Fabulous Bingo were planning a move to Virtue Fusion first broke in November last year, we’ll happily admit to being more than a little sceptical that the move was the right one. Gamesys provided a good solid bingo platform and whilst Virtue Fusion does too, we were concerned that the new Sun Bingo would be very ‘samey’; another William Hill or bet365 is what we were expecting.
The migration to the new software was completed last week and we headed to Sun Bingo with low expectations. However, upon landing at the site, little looked to have changed on the landing page! The overall design and aesthetic look the same, you really wouldn’t know that anything is different at this point.
However, when we tried to login we kept getting an error message when using our registered username. This was soon rectified by using our email address and password.

Step into the lobby at Sun Bingo and you’ll notice very subtle differences, there aren’t any stand out changes to be seen, just a few more tabs to navigate.
The same information is available about the rooms and games available but it was when we entered the bingo rooms that we expected to notice the difference.

We were surprised to find that even the bingo rooms looked like they had hardly changed too! Purchasing tickets looks the same, although you can buy more to play, and even the actual gameplay looks very similar!
That said, we did notice that the new Sun Bingo features the simplified ticket view, a fairly new addition to the Virtue Fusion / Playtech software and one that we really liked.

Bonus Changes
There has been a change to the bonus structure though and whilst the cash match bonus remains the same for new players at Sun Bingo, the semantics are a little different.
Whereas previously the bonus was given the moment that you made your first deposit of £10, you now get the bonus when you have wagered that deposit on bingo.
Also, whilst the old bonus was all for bingo, the new structure is £20 as a bingo bonus (with 3x wagering requirement) and £10 as a slots bonus (with 30x wagering requirement) at www.sunbingo.co.uk.
