Epic Bingo Not So Epic

Over the weekend I visited one of many Cozy Games sites to compile a review and whilst I’m not a big fan of any of the brands on this platform I always try to review with an open mind. However after visiting Epic Bingo this weekend it’s just confirmed all of the reasons why I detest these sites. As part of the review process I have to register and play as if I were a new player so that I can give our readers an honest and insightful view of what a brand has to offer and this is where the problems started.

Epic Bingo offer new players £20 free which sounds great until you actually register and try to claim the free bonus, then your nightmare begins.

For our readers the option is available to click the back button and simply walk away, for me this was not an option, I had a review of Epic Bingo to compile! The one click registration looks pretty impressive to start with; no requirement for your financial details but it soon becomes apparent that it will take more than “one click” to play at this site.

As soon as I logged into my account I was presented with a screen telling me how to claim my £20 free – I’m used to this on Cozy Games brands and usually you simply have to validate your account through a welcome email. This is not the case at Epic Bingo, you have to email in with the subject line “Verify Account” which is exactly what I did. 15 minutes pass, then 20 and remember, you cannot access the games until you have had your account validated. A trip to Live Help was called for and this is when I was informed that my email had to contain the subject line “VERIFY ACCOUNT” in capitals! What a flaming liberty *said in my best Joannie “Nan” Taylor voice* (from the Catherine Tate show).

As if all that wasn’t enough, I only got £10 of the bonus when they finally pulled their fingers out of their backsides. For the remainder I had to complete my profile for £5 and send in a picture for the remaining fiver. Seriously?

Throw in the major issues I have with the Cozy Games brands anyway that basically make it nigh on impossible to withdraw funds and I was literally tearing my hair out screaming at the screen whilst reviewing www.epicbingo.co.uk!

It is not withdrawable until you have met the wagering requirements that are clearly stated and have made a minimum deposit with the site.

The wagering requirements of the welcome bonus, the no deposit required £20 that you refer to, are 8x for bingo (£160) and 20x for casino (£400), You are then expected to make a minimum deposit of £10.

Withdrawals can only be made by real-money players, who have made a minimum deposit of £10 to their account.

I hope this clarifies the situation for you.

Thanks
